Summary Description


Responsible for facilitating day to day service activities of the network service group.  Dispatches incoming calls and procures materials and assists in overall organization and implementation for the team.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Essential Functions:

  • Processes all incoming service calls, enters service call information into Spectrum/ProNav Module and determines priority timing for response.
  • Schedules and dispatches technicians based on technician availability and overall severity of the service need.
  • Schedules technicians utilizing our schedule application and ProNav.
  • Validates service-related material orders are received and staged appropriately in the warehouse for technician pickup.
  • Attends and participates in monthly process improvement meetings with the corporate procurement team.  Provides feedback as necessary.
  • Ensures adequate material stock items are replenished, as needed. 
  • Prepares material return paperwork for distribution firms when needed. 
  • Maintains electronic records for all service customers utilizing ProNav for this database.
  • Supports service technicians with all job-related documentation as requested.
  • Verifies all incoming service requests are documented and complete and prepares paperwork for the billing process. 
  • Performs other service duties as needed to support our service operation. 
  • Assists with overall building-wide phone coverage as required.

Job Qualifications:

Education & Skills:

  • High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years post high school or other service-related training.
  • Minimum of 6-7 years administrative experience or equivalent service industry experience, a plus.  
  • Must possess and display a high level of customer service. 
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with MS office platforms.  Experience in Spectrum, a plus.
  • Above average math skills.
  • Well organized and ability to prioritize work for multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Working 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8 to 10-hour shifts.
  • Sitting 6 to 8 hours/day.
  • Lifting weights of 0 to 30 lbs. from floor to above shoulders.
  • Repetitive use of hands for writing, typing, data entry, and filing.
  • Vision adequate for computer use and reading. 
  • Hearing adequate for phone use.
